Direct Loan Exit Counseling
West Virginia University is required to provide exit counseling to borrowers in the federal loan programs shortly before borrowers graduate, withdraw, or otherwise cease to attend school at least half-time.

You will receive information from us on how to complete the Exit Counseling process. You will be directed to complete the process online through our servicer Educational Computer Systems Inc. (ECSI).

If you do not complete Exit Counseling before leaving WVU, a hold will be placed on your records until the requirement is satisfied.
