If so, you are required to complete an Exit Counseling for borrowers in the federal loan programs shortly before you graduate, withdraw, or otherwise cease to attend school at least half-time.

If you are graduating, you should automatically receive information via e-mail with instructions for completing the Exit Counseling process. If you do not receive these materials before the end of the semester, you must contact the WVU Loan Officer at the Office of Student Accounts at 304-293-2809 so that information can be sent to you to provide you with a PIN for the Exit Counseling process.

If you are leaving at the end of this semester WVU or dropping below half-time enrollment during this semester, you must notify the WVU Loan Officer at the Office of Student Accounts at 304-293-2809 so that information can be sent to you to provide you with a PIN for the Exit Counseling process.

Students who have received information regarding Exit Counseling and their PIN, will be directed to complete the process online through our servicer Educational Computer Systems Inc. (ECSI).
